The Exuma Cays (Islands) stretch from about 35 miles Southeast of Nassau, Bahamas for over 100 miles, in a long chain that encompasses 365 tropical islands, one for each day of the year.

These Out-Islands (Bahamians like to call the The Family Islands) are a much appreciated relief from the glitz, glamour, and business of Nassau and Grand Bahama. Here the natural element is the attraction- the remoteness and beauty of the hundreds of perfect beaches, the abundant marine life, clarity of the turquoise waters, and the hospitality. This is ANOTHER WORLD in itself. The people are ever so friendly and helpful: the atmosphere is laid back and casual, the surroundings breathtaking!
Exumas are one of the worlds most sought after sea kayak expedition destinations. Exumas have remained a secret to all but a few knowledgeable world travelers like Jacque Cousteau, Jimmy Buffet, and the Royal Family. This special place harbors one of the world's greatest sailing harbors, intriguing blue holes and caves, Loyalist ruins and plantations. World class reefs, mangroves, and bone fishing flats provide the perfect habitat for colorful tropical reef fish, barracuda, rays, giant grouper, conch, and dolphin.
