salt marshes are the richest ecosystem on the coast. As you paddle
through the marsh your kayak will glide past herons and egrets stalking
the banks. Terns, pelicans, and osprey dive bomb the waters around
you in hopes of a meal, while the fish they hunt dart underneath your
boat. If you enjoy being surrounded by wildlife in a serene setting,

the loop! Wrightsville Beach is made up of two islands: Wrightsville
Island and Harbor Island. On this trip we will circumnavigate Harbor
Island, which is the interior island. This paddle will provide a new
perspective of the Wrightsville Beach area. Along the way you will
see the striking array of houses, restaurants and docks lining the
beach.You'll cruise through the marina catching close-up views of
monstrous sail boats and yachts. Paddling underneath the drawbridge
is awesome, especially if you get to see it raised. Palm Tree
Island is a characteristic stop on the water to stretch your legs
or cool off with a swim. If you've never seen Wrightsville Beach by

are looking for peace and tranquility, this paddle is a must! Once
the sun goes down and the hot, humid air lifts you'll find there is
no better place to unwind than on the water, in a kayak, moving quietly
through the shimmering water under a bright full moon. To make the
most of the full moon we offer this tour the night before and the
night of the full moon. Meet at dusk as the moon rises and prepare
for a mystical night. |

Are you looking for a thrilling ride? Surf kayaking will give you just that! You'll be grinning ear to ear after catching your first wave. The force of the wave thrusting your kayak forward, picking up speed, and then surfing along the break is an exhilarating experience that will make you turn around and do it all over again. Catching waves in a kayak is much easier for a beginner than on a surfboard. We provide sit-on-top kayaks, so if the boat flips, you just slip off and hop back on. No kayaking experience is necessary, however, decent physical condition is important as surf kayaking requires a high level of exertion. |
